Last night, I played my first Razz BAS tourney and fell short after getting off to a quick start. it’s disappointing the way that it finished up but I felt strong for the first two hours of the tournament. I got caught in a pissing contest with the guy who decided to play every hand and he had a hand at the wrong time. I will do better tonight and try to avoid the pissing contest. My feeling about the player, dirtman200, was right. At the time I went out in 50th, he was 2nd in chips… he missed finishing in the money when he went out in 19th place. Those players make or break tournaments for good players. It’s amazing how those guys always catch fire, never back off and eventually blow it all. It’s like they never learn.
I had some really good news about my bankroll until this morning’s session. While I’m still moving forward (for once), I took a minor setback this morning.
